Grounds Maintenance TechnicianExpress Employment is now hiring a Grounds Maintenance Technician for an airport facility in the West Columbia, SC area! This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining safe, well-kept grounds. No prior airfield experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.Pay: $20.00/hrSchedule:Summer: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM to 2:00 PMWinter: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PMPaid 1-hour lunchJob Duties:Operate commercial riding mowersPerform weed eating, trimming, and mulchingComplete general grounds maintenance and landscapingMaintain airport and airfield propertyFollow all airfield safety procedures and regulationsRequirements:Valid driver's license requiredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to pass a TSA background investigationPass a 7-panel drug screen, TB test, and physical examinationReliable attendance and strong work ethicTraining Provided:Commercial mower and landscape equipment operationAirfield safety and runway proceduresAirport control tower communicationOSHA and airport-specific safety trainingBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
