GroundskeeperJob Location: Delray Beach Required Travel (%): 0 Work Model: onsiteYour Mission The groundskeeper will work 6:00am to 2:00pm, and is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of outdoor areas and landscaping. This position performs routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, irrigation checks, debris removal, and general upkeep of property grounds to ensure a clean and professional environment. Work hours and scheduled days may adjust depending on organization and landscape needs.How you will make a differenceMow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areasPlant, water, mulch, fertilize, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greeneryRemove weeds, leaves, trash, and debris from grounds, parking lots, and walkwaysOperate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mower(s), trimmers, blowers, lift(s), and hedge cuttersInspect irrigation systems and report or repair minor issuesApply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers safely when requiredMaintain sidewalks, curbs, fences, and outdoor common areasMinor painting of curbs, fences, and other outdoor structuresAssist with seasonal tasks such as storm cleanup and holiday decorationsPerform minor repairs and general labor as assignedFollow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environmentWhat you should be good atHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Minimum 5 years' experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferredAbility to operate landscaping tools and equipment safelyBasic knowledge of lawn care, irrigation, and plant maintenanceAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the dayAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsReliable attendance and strong work ethicValid driver's license preferredProficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
