Discover endless opportunities to grow and make your mark at Hines.As a Groundskeeper at Drewery Place with Hines, you will be responsible for ensuring the property is well maintained and standards are met regarding the grounds and amenities. You will also provide support to the service team members as needed.Responsibilities include:Examines the property to remove litter, debris and other items ensuring the area is always clean and orderlyInform appropriate contacts and supervisors of any potential hazards and other harmful situations to residents, team members and guestsRemove trash debris from apartments prior to the occupancy as well as clean and maintain the areas as neededComplete minor and routine service requests and assist other members when neededSupport cost-cutting and expense control programs by verifying parts are up to standards for repair rather than a complete replacement when possibleAttentive to questions from other service members as well as residents, responding in a respectful manner to complaints about maintenance services, and assign work requests according to urgency and efficiencyDistributes communications and other information to residentsEnsure safety information is current and readily accessible while keeping up to date on all OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements to ensure complianceQualifications include:High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution preferredOne or more years of related experience preferredDriver's license to operate machinery in propertyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail, organization, and strong multitasking abilitiesWork indoors approximately 25% of the time and outdoors approximately 75% of the timeUse olfactory, auditory, and visual sensesWork standing all dayLift 25 lbs. or moreClimb up and down stairs and laddersAccess remote work areas and confined spaces (i.e., crawl spaces, roofs)Use full range of manual dexterity (i.e., sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting)Meet the shift working requirements of the assigned property; shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidaysWork overtime as business needs deem appropriateThis position is fully on-site and requires working from the assigned property five days per weekCompensation: $16/hr - $18/hr + BonusAt Hines, we strive for excellence as a leading global real estate investment manager, driven by our belief that real estate is fundamentally about people.
