Job description
GroundskeeperThe Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, playability, and safety of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This role supports daily golf operations by ensuring turf, landscaping, and course features are maintained to high standards that enhance the guest experience.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice areasAssist with mowing, aeration, fertilization, and irrigationRake and maintain bunkersTrim landscaping and natural areasOperate and maintain grounds equipment safelyIdentify and report maintenance or safety issuesAssist with course setup and tournament preparationFollow all safety and environmental guidelinesQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Reasonable accommodations may be made.Education And/Or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredGroundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred but not requiredSkills And AbilitiesAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAttention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn equipment and turf care practicesCompensationCompetitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience, and discounted golf privileges.Working ConditionsLocation: On Site (Golf Course)Physical DemandsThis role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating equipment for extended periods.
