Full-Time Grounds Crew MemberNew Albany Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Grounds Crew Member to join our team year-round! Our Grounds Crew plays an important role in maintaining the beauty, playability, and overall appearance of our golf course and Club property throughout the year.This is a year-round, full-time position offering benefits and employee perks!Pay & BenefitsStarting pay: $16.00 per hour.Health insurance benefits available on the first day of employment401(k) retirement planFree employee mealsEmployee uniforms providedGolf course playing privilegesYear-round, full-time employmentJob ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our Grounds Crew, you will help maintain the golf course, landscaped areas, and overall appearance of the Club property. Responsibilities include:Maintain assigned areas of the golf course and Club grounds throughout the year.Operate mowers, trimmers, and other equipment to maintain greens, tees, aprons, and surrounding areas.Rake and maintain flower beds and landscaped areas.Prepare the grounds daily to ensure the property is clean, neat, and presentable.Pick up visible trash throughout the property, including the Club entrance and surrounding grounds.Ensure golf course accessories and grounds fixtures are clean, neat, and properly positioned.Inspect equipment, maintain appropriate fluid levels, and report maintenance concerns to a supervisor or equipment technician.Clean equipment after use and return it to the designated storage area.Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance and other outdoor projects as needed throughout the year.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Skills & QualificationsEnjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.Dependable, hardworking, and willing to perform physical labor.Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.Knowledge of landscaping, turf maintenance, or groundskeeping is helpful but not required.Willingness to learn and take pride in maintaining a high-quality golf course and Club property.Education & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be at least 18 years of age.Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors.At New Albany Country Club, you will be part of a team that takes pride in its work and contributes to an outstanding experience for our members and guests.
