Our team is the single most important ingredient to our success, and we seek to foster a work environment as welcoming as our apartment communities.We are looking to add a Groundskeeper to our team at Centennial at 5th Apartments.Benefits and PerksStarting compensation: $17 to $17.50 an hour30% rent discount10+ days of paid time off in your first year of employmentComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability insurance401(k) with generous employer matchEmployee assistance programWellness programsReferral programMaintenance training & certification programs to grow your careerAlong with tons of other great benefits and amazing perks!The Groundskeeper role is responsible for the general day-to-day upkeep of the community:Clean/maintain property grounds dailyRemove trash and debris from all common areasClean/maintain barbeque grills, if applicableClean and maintain pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture cleanlinessClean and maintain mail room area and laundry rooms, if applicableAssist in maintaining the workplace and maintenance shop by keeping areas clean and supplies/tools organizedAssist in turning vacant apartments including, but not limited to; painting, locks, light bulbs, garbage disposal, drawers, doors, smoke detectors, blinds, windows, drains, faucets and toiletsPerform additional duties, responsibilities or projects as assignedMaintain open communication with Property Manager and Maintenance SupervisorRequirementsPossess skills relating to grounds maintenance and pool maintenance job functionsValid driver's license along with current auto insurance may be requiredWork inside and outside, in all types of weatherMust be able to lift and work heavy equipmentMedium to heavy work, requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to a maximum of 100 lbs., with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.Good hand and eye coordination essential, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive/continuous tasks according to set procedures and sequences40-hour work weekThis career position is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking longevity and growth.
