Grounds Maintenance WorkerTo work cooperatively using technical skills to guide efficient, quality maintenance of all grounds and playing fieldsHigh School Diploma or equivalentThree years work in grounds maintenance using full array of grounds keeping tools with experience caring for highly manicured fields.Three plus year grounds experience or related fieldAbility to operate large mowers and tractorsIrrigation system maintenancePosses a valid class C Texas Drivers LicenseAbility to operate trucks pulling trailers with equipmentAssist Grounds Foreman on day to day activitiesComplete daily reports, logs and material requests as necessaryRepairs to irrigation systemsMaintain and perform daily preventative maintenance on equipmentAssist in field layout and stripingAttend classes to seek professional growth in fieldAssist in transporting, setup of equipment as necessary for athletic or district eventsOperate large area reel mowers, paint sprayers, and other field maintenance vehicles and equipmentAbility to work independently as directed by the Grounds ForemanContinual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds). Operate machinery. Work outside and around moving objects or vehicles. Exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noises, chemicals, paints, and solvents. Modified work schedule and over time as necessary to support athletic events.Non-Exempt2- Auxiliary240 Days
