Job PostingSouthern Land Company's Westhaven Golf Club, one of the top family centric private clubs in the Nashville area, is currently seeking highly motivated, reliable associates in multiple positions. You are a member of a hard-working team that is dedicated to keeping the golf course beautiful and functional. You effectively and safely operate a wide range of tools and equipment to ensure the golf course maintains championship conditions. You are a team player and take great pride in your work. You are committed to the overall success of the Golf Club and your teammates.Responsibilities:Maintain greens, tees, fairways and roughs through proper mowing, rolling, watering and fertilityMaintain bunker quality through blowing, raking, edging, and maintaining proper sand depthsComplete course set-up by changing pin locations, setting tee markers, filling divots, cleaning ball washers and emptying trash receptaclesUtilize light duty carts and blowers to remove debris from the golf courseUtilize handheld power tools to weed-eat trees and lake banks, edge irrigation heads and edge cart pathsUtilize chainsaws, hedge trimmers and pruners to trim trees and landscape ornamentalsWork Schedule:Typical workday is 5:30am – 2:15pm. Saturdays and Sundays are usually 4-hour shifts, depending on course set-up completionEarlier start times required for select tournamentsRequired to work every other weekend and mandatory dates for select tournamentsSeasonal positions are available May-AugustRequirements:Ability to lift heavy objects (approximately 50 lbs)Ability to stand or walk for extended periodsAbility to work in adverse weather conditionsExperience with, or ability to learn to operate specialized equipment following SOP's and guidelinesAttention to detailStrong work ethicTeam playerCompany Overview:Southern Land Company believes that community is the heart of every successful development project.
