GroundskeeperWork Schedule: 12-month Salary Classification: Support Staff Salary Schedule - Group B $15.89General Statement Of Responsibilities: To provide safe and aesthetically pleasing landscaping, playing fields, athletic fields, parking and walkway areas.Essential Functions:Installs and repairs irrigation systemsMows and trims grassCares for all grass, trees, plants and flowersRepairs and maintains grounds equipmentConducts safety inspections of playground equipment, repairs as neededRemoves debris from drives, parking lots, sidewalks and other areas as requiredRemoves grounds trash and litterPrepares athletic fields for eventsMaintains swimming pool, including water chemistryPerforms minor maintenance duties as assignedPerforms other tasks as assignedQualifications Required:Education, Training & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent, preferredOne year of experience preferredAbility to communicate and work well with staffPossession of a valid Arizona driver's licensePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 75 lbs without assistanceCommitment & Dependability:Willingness to perform as an integral member of a successful team; Dedication to providing the highest level of service; Willingness to adhere to and uphold all policies and procedures.Performance Expectations:Time Management: Routine work with little planning neededStress Management: Minimal stress associated with the positionPublic Contact: Completes work with minimal contact with othersLevel Of Responsibility: Must use sound judgment in performing jobEvaluation Procedure: In accordance with provisions specified in Governing Board policy.Supervision Received: Reports to the Director of FacilitiesSupervisory Responsibility: None.Public Notification Of Non-Discrimination: Sahuarita Unified School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national origin, sexual orientation, age, sex or disability in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its educational programs or activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.Application Procedure: Apply online.
