GroundskeeperCharis Bible College Colorado - Woodland Park, CO 80863OverviewSalary Range $15.16 - $15.50 Hourly Level Entry Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Category FacilitiesDescriptionPosition Purpose:Under the supervision of the Grounds Manager, the Groundskeeper will perform maintenance tasks for the care of landscaped areas, keeping lawns, trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, and other landscaping elements. Tend to the seasonal needs of walkways and parking lots, as well as site-specific structures like fountains, statues, seating areas, fences, and buildings.Essential Duties:Cultivate, water, and trim lawnsOperate a power mower, power edger, tractor, and other power equipmentDaily remove trash and debris on the propertyMaintain fertilizing schedules of trees, shrubs, and lawnsAssist in the preparation of turf and lawn areas, general grounds, maintenance work, and in moving equipment and furniture when necessaryAssist with snow removalOther duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Good verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsOperate power equipment related to landscaping and gardeningBasic methods, supplies, and tools used in cultivating and caring for groundsPerform general gardening and grounds workOperate automatic sprinkling system clocksPerform heavy physical labor and be able to lift and carry up to 80lbsOperate snow removal equipment and chainsaws in the removal of trees and shrubsMust be able to effectively operate Windows-based computers and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.Sit/Stand/Walk for extended periodsRequirements:Must have a personal relationship with Jesus ChristMust sign the Statement of FaithA high school diploma or equivalent education is requiredA Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferredDevelop and maintain cooperative working relations with those contacted in the course of workMaintain a valid Driver's licenseMust pass all required checksExperience:Any combination of experience and education that would provide the required knowledge and abilities listed hereinMinimum of one year of experience in grounds work and maintenance or related fieldCompensation is commensurate with experienceWe offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees to include the following: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays per year (10), Flexible Spending Account (FSA)-Medical/Dependent Care, Health Savings Account (HSA), Voluntary Life and AD&D, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 403(b) Retirement Plan, Life Assistance Program, Accident/Hospital, ID Shield/Legal Shield and TelehealthAbout Us: Andrew Wommack Ministries (AWM) is a teaching ministry of unconditional love and the balance between grace and faith.
