Guest Services Event Staff | Part-Time | Xtream Arena and GreenState Family FieldhouseAs a member of the Guest Services Team, you will be an essential part of the Guest experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to ushering, ticket scanning, concourse customer service, greeter. You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by offering directions and sharing information while creating a World Class experience. Your job will be to keep our fans safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere.This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.00 to $15.00.Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingEVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.Xtream Arena powered by Mediacom & GreenState Family Fieldhouse serves as a highly accessible and most importantly right sized venue for concerts, family shows, and special events. Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse fulfills a longstanding community and economic development void in Coralville and surrounding areas.Responsibilities include preparing your assigned section for guests, welcoming fans, scanning event tickets, assisting fans in locating their ticketed seats, being alert and proactive to potential hazards, monitoring your assigned area for issues, responding to guest concerns, assisting in ADA accessible seating sections, enforcing building policies, managing foot traffic flow, checking identification for alcohol purchase, and being knowledgeable about the arena emergency evacuation plan.Qualifications include experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment, a love for working with and helping people, the ability to stand for long periods, maintaining a positive attitude, and flexible schedule availability.
