Opportunity:
Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology
Job Details:
Inpatient Hematology/Oncology APP (PA or NP) position available with locums to permanent options
Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Full-time coverage needed with 11-16 patients per day
Patient population includes all ages within the Hematology/Oncology department
Must be comfortable working in an unsupervised setting with solid tumor patients
Experience with benign and malignant hematology patients is required
APP support available on inpatient side for both hematology and oncology during daytime hours
Knowledge around bone marrow practice is a plus, though specialization is not required at this time
Two APP positions available: one focused on Oncology and one with a strong Hematology focus
EMR system: Epic experience required
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
Board Certification as PA or APP required
MN state license required; willing to license only if IMLC eligible
DEA not required

This facility is a large, well-established hospital with 686 total beds, offering a wide range of inpatient medical services including a robust Hematology/Oncology department. The organization is actively expanding its bone marrow practice and provides APP support on the inpatient side, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented care environment. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and is committed to delivering high-quality, specialized care to patients of all ages.
