Gynecologic Oncology Physician Opening in Baltimore, MDLocation: Baltimore, MD - Major metropolitan area accessEmployment Type: Full-time, permanent positionPosition Type: Hospital-Based, Employed Position OverviewSeeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join an established oncology practice with a solid referral base. The role includes: Participation in the development of a comprehensive cancer center opening in 2026 Collaboration with a team of gynecologic oncologists, advanced practice providers, and a nurse navigator Active involvement in a highly competitive ACGME-accredited residency program Faculty appointment opportunities through an affiliated medical school Participation in clinical research Clinic and surgical block time at main campus and community locations Access to two DaVinci Xi surgical robots across centers Weekend call coverage Qualifications / Candidate Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology Ability to obtain a Maryland medical license and DEA license Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach Willingness to participate in rotating call schedule Position Highlights / Opportunity Highlights Established practice with growth opportunities Academic involvement with residents and potential faculty appointment Access to advanced surgical technology and dedicated support teams Opportunity to participate in clinical research programs Structured clinic days and surgical block time Weekend call as required Signing bonus available Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed base salary: $500,000-$600,000 (dependent on specialty, board certification, and experience) Additional compensation: wRVU incentives and call coverage opportunities Comprehensive benefits package: Health, life, and retirement plans (403b, 457b) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) CME allowance and authorized time off Free parking Fitness center membership discounts Practice / Facility Details Hospital-based gynecologic oncology practice Team includes oncologists, APPs, and nurse navigator support Academic and research opportunities Access to minimally invasive surgical technology (DaVinci Xi robots) Community OverviewBaltimore offers a mix of urban and suburban living with access to cultural attractions and outdoor recreation.
