nWe’re looking for a passionate Hairstylist to join our spa team in an exciting casino resort environment. From a flawless blowout before a night out to a stunning updo for a special occasion, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your creativity to every appointment and help guests look and feel their best.

nWhat You’ll Do
nAs a Hairstylist, you’ll create personalized looks while delivering the exceptional service our guests expect. Your day may include:
nnnConsult with guests to understand their style, preferences, and desired look
n
nnRecommend cuts, colors, and styles that complement each guest’s features and personality
n
nnPerform cuts, trims, shaves, blowouts, set & styles, and updos
n
nnCreate beautiful color services, including highlights, ombré, balayage, and more
n
nnShampoo, condition, and prepare hair using products appropriate for each guest’s needs
n
nnProvide hair treatments such as hydrating masks and color-protection treatments
n
nnStay current with beauty trends, techniques, products, and styles
n
nnBuild relationships with returning guests and remember their preferences
n
nnRecommend professional hair care products and additional services when appropriate
n
nnManage appointments and walk-ins while providing timely, polished service
n
nnMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming station and properly sanitize tools
n
nnPromote spa services, treatments, retail products, promotions, and special programs
n
nnJump in and support the spa team wherever needed
n
nnWork independently while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism
n
n nThe Experience We’re Looking For
nWe’re looking for someone who is:
nnnPassionate about hair, beauty, and creating memorable guest experiences
n
nnFriendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people
n
nnCreative, detail-oriented, and confident in their technical skills
n
nnComfortable working with both short and long hair
n
nnExperienced with a variety of cutting, styling, and coloring techniques
n
nnA strong communicator and listener
n
nnOrganized and able to manage multiple appointments and priorities
n
nnComfortable working independently and taking initiative
n
nnFlexible and willing to support the needs of a dynamic spa environment
n
nnComfortable recommending products and services without being pushy
n
n n Qualifications
nnnCurrent New York State Cosmetology/Hairstylist License required
n
nnStrong customer service experience
n
nnPrevious salon or spa experience preferred
n
nnKnowledge of current hair and beauty trends
n
nnBasic computer skills
n
nnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
