We create quality products in a safe environment for our team members.Benefits Effective Day 1!Responsibilities & KnowledgeSet up and tear down of the saw.Run the saw with maximum speed, slicing yield, and percent acceptable products.Perform minor maintenance on saw to include changing of blades and cleaning the saw to keep it running efficiently.Perform necessary paperwork and process control checks.Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.Perform any other work as assigned by management.Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and accurately and record/report product information into the computer as required.Ability and willingness to scan or input into the computer system all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including changeovers.Physical RequirementsAbility and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on to a conveyor and/or other processing equipment.Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently.Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater, frequently.Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.Preferred SkillsMachine Operator experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing setting preferredRF Scanner experience preferredQualifications3 months of work history with the same employerLOCATION IS NOT ACCEPTING REHIRESRelocation Assistance Eligible: NoWork Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
