POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is for highly organized and customer‑centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience for at least 15 years is required – solid construction skills are necessary.
House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Evanston area. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meeting with customers and analyzing repair issues and providing estimates.
Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks.
Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
15+ years of construction experience.
Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry.
Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems.
Friendly personality and committed to great customer service.
A strong work ethic and highly dependable.
Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Must have a cell phone, vehicle, your own tools and be proficient with email.
Workers Compensation insurance.
