Job Overview
We are looking for dependable, hardworking Construction Laborers to join our growing home improvement company. Our projects include residential renovations, flooring installation, drywall replacement and repairs, demolition, and general property improvements.
The ideal candidate is motivated, willing to learn, works well with a team, and takes pride in completing quality work. Candidates with construction experience are preferred, but we are willing to consider individuals who have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with residential renovation and home improvement projects.
Help install laminate, hardwood, vinyl plank, and other flooring materials.
Assist with drywall removal, hanging, patching, and preparation.
Perform light demolition and remove old flooring, drywall, and construction debris.
Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and tools.
Prepare work areas and protect floors, walls, and other surfaces.
Assist skilled tradesmen with measuring, cutting, installation, and repairs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Follow instructions from the project supervisor and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
Use hand tools and power tools safely.
Follow all job-site safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
Qualifications
Reliable transportation to job sites.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to learn new construction skills and follow directions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Previous construction, flooring, drywall, demolition, or renovation experience is a plus.
Must be dependable and professional when working in customers’ homes.
