Hard Armor Shield Assembly TechnicianPeoria, AZ 85345Job DescriptionHard Armor Shield Assembly Technician Pay: $16.50 per hour Schedule: 2nd Shift | 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hard Armor Shield Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will prepare materials, assemble shield and dolly systems, inspect finished products, and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. This is a hands-on manufacturing position that is well suited for someone who takes pride in quality work, follows instructions carefully, and enjoys working as part of a team. What You'll Do Prepare materials and components for production processes. Gather and stage materials needed for manufacturing orders. Assemble shields and dolly systems according to established instructions and drawings. Inspect materials and finished products for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Assist with order fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and shipment preparation. Coordinate with team members to ensure necessary materials and components are available. Maintain accurate production and order documentation. Support other manufacturing operations as production needs require. Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and established work instructions. Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient. Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, production issues, or delays to supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or materials-handling experience is preferred but not required. Ability to follow written instructions and basic production documentation. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to learn new processes and take on different production tasks. Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned second shift. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the work area. Frequent use of hands and arms to handle materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. May involve exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying temperatures.
