Hardware Engineer
Regular Full-Time Professional Everett, WA, Everett, WA, US
Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $130,000.00 Hourly
Job Summary:
Responsible for reviewing product requirement documentation (PRD) and create a feasibility study to implement requirements. Once product is approved, create Technical Product Specification (TPS) document.
Schematic design based upon TPS and feedback to board design group concerning component placement.
Direct and review PCB layout.
Supply product specification to manufacturing and supply feedback during product initial release.
Product sustaining during product lifecycle.
Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies and develops recommendations accordingly.
Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements.
Stay up to date on company products and project goals- identify hidden barriers and opportunities.
Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
3+ years of schematic design experience
Knowledge of high-speed PB design techniques
Basic knowledge of “C” programming language
Understanding of networking: Ethernet, Fiber, PCI based designs.
