Location: Onsite
Pay: $600 per week
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Conversion: Eligible for permanent conversion after 6 months
Position Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Technician to support the disassembly, reassembly, testing, and preparation of laptops and tablets. This is an onsite, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with computer hardware and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
Disassemble and reassemble laptops, tablets, and related computer equipment.
Diagnose and identify basic hardware issues.
Replace or repair hardware components as needed.
Test devices to ensure proper functionality after repair or reassembly.
Perform quality-control checks on completed devices.
Document repairs, testing results, and equipment status.
Follow established procedures for handling, repairing, and testing equipment.
Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.
Comfortable using hand tools and working with small electronic components.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and test equipment methodically.
Prior experience repairing, assembling, or servicing computers, laptops, tablets, or electronics is preferred.
Ability to work onsite and stand or sit for extended periods as needed.
Compensation & Schedule
$600 per week
Onsite contract-to-hire opportunity
Eligible for permanent conversion after 6 months
Hands-on technical environment with opportunities to build hardware and IT experience.
