License: Board Certified/Board Eligible via the American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Must-Have: Candidates must be BC/BE via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
ABPS EM boarded candidates are welcome.
This is a nights-only position.
Description:
Candidates must possess the required certifications.
The emergency department projects 8,500 anticipated ER visits in year one, approximately 23 visits per day.
The facility provides 24 hours of physician coverage.
Shifts change between 7 am and 7 pm.
We will consistently assess flow and make coverage adjustments as necessary.
The department is fully equipped with a trauma bay.
There is a separate adult and pediatric waiting area.
There are 11 private treatment rooms and an ambulance bay for EMS access.
Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported with a seamless care handoff to excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
The facility is dedicated to serving and improving the health of the community since its opening in 2010, providing emergency department care and advanced technology operating rooms.
Obstetric maternity care includes lactation services, childbirth education classes, and perinatology services.
Neonatal newborn care includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Radiology imaging services offered include X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, CT, MRI, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine.
Physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are available for children and adults.
There is an Intensive Care Unit and a step-down Progressive Care Unit.
Cardiac care includes catheterization, EKG, coronary interventions, and electrophysiology studies with pacemaker and defibrillator implants.
Inpatient psychiatric behavioral health services are also offered.
Surgical services include orthopedics, spine, ENT, urology, oncology, vascular, gynecological, and robotics.
The facility is recognized for its quality measures and has received various accreditations and certifications in specialized care.
