Description:
Nocturnist position available.
Must have a valid state license and DEA.
Providers must be willing to work 7 on/7 off schedule.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech with Expanse.
There are open needs due to the assumption of a prior group.
The specific start date is 12/08/2026.
Candidates should expect to work on-site, providing call coverage, including weekends.
Day shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM, and night shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM.
The hospital has a total of 532 beds, and hospitalists carry approximately 75% of the census.
The patient population does not include trauma but encompasses ICU, stroke, and transplant cellular therapy cases.
Support staff includes all subspecialties and is well-staffed.
Follow-up care for cases will be managed as necessary.
Daily rounding includes 20 to 22 patients.
The position involves rounding in the ICU, but procedures and ventilator management are not required, as intensivists handle these tasks.
Teaching teams conduct grand rounds as part of the responsibilities.
The facility is highly specialized and serves complex cardiac cases.
