HCSS Caregiver TBI NHTD ProgramIdeal Home Care Services is a leading provider of in-home care services, dedicated to bringing peace of mind to clients and their families. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate HCSS Caregiver TBI NHTD program to join our dynamic team and provide one-on-one in-home support for clients living with traumatic brain injuries and related cognitive or behavioral health challenges.Responsibilities:Provide non-medical in-home support for clients with TBI, cognitive impairment, mobility issuesAssist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeepingMaintain a structured, calm, low-conflict environmentUse redirection and de-escalation techniquesSupport routines that reduce confusion, agitation, impulsivity, and overstimulationObserve behavior changes and report concerns promptly to the care teamDocument care accurately and professionallyBuild trust with both client and family while maintaining boundaries and consistencyIdeal Candidate:Experience caring for clients with TBI, memory impairment, mental health diagnoses, or behavioral challenges (TBI/NHTD Certification)Comfortable working in homes where emotional regulation, structure, and safety awareness are importantAble to remain calm under pressure and respond professionally to difficult situationsStrong communication, patience, and observation skillsRequirements:HHA/PCA CertificateAble to work 12-hour shiftsFluent EnglishCOVID VaccinationCurrent physical including MMR vaccination, Quantiferon or PPD, and a current drug screen.Compensation and Schedules:Schedules: 12-hour shifts (8-8 or 9-9) day and overnightsCompensation: To be determined plus benefits ($22 and up/hour)Weekly pay and On Demand Pay perk!Direct DepositHealthcare BenefitsPTO (Paid Time Off)Referral Bonus!401k retirement savings!If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to clients with TBI/NHTD, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
