n nSHIFTS AVAILABLE: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
nPAY: Starting at $15 per hour, with opportunities for annual increases. Shift premium of $1 per hour while working between the hours of 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
nSCOPE OF POSITION:
nResponsible for a variety of janitorial duties and ensures the cleanliness of assigned areas while performing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with Tribal, federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures.
nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
nThe following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices.
nnnReceives dirty dinnerware, flatware, and glassware and places them according to size and likeness onto the automatic dishwasher conveyor belt.
n
nnRemoves washed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware from the automatic dishwasher and stacks according to size and likeness for future use and washes those items that have not been cleaned satisfactorily.
n
nnWashes floor mats in designated areas and sweeps and mops the floors in all areas of the kitchen.
n
nnScrubs walls, floor drains, and stainless-steel tables and sinks.
n
nnPicks up trash and takes to designated areas, washing trash cans when emptied.
n
nnCleans all ventilator hoods in kitchens.
n
nnSweeps, mop, and cleans all walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
n
nnOperates a variety of stewarding equipment (i.e.: shop vacs, steamers, floor scrubbers).
n
nnMaintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
n
nnPromotes and maintains the highest level of guest service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
n
nnMaintains the highest level of confidentiality.
n
nnResponsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record as outlined in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Attendance Policy.
n
nnOutstanding example of and a credit to FireKeepers Casino Hotel.

n nMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
nAn applicant’s education, training and experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the ability to successfully perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. nThe requirements listed below are generally representative of the education, experience, and skills and/or abilities required to enable one to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities:
nProficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
nStrong attention to detail skills.
nMust be at least 18 years of age.
nGENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
nOne year stewarding experience in a full-service restaurant establishment.
nHigh School Diploma or GED.
nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

nWork is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise level varies from quiet to loud depending upon business.
