Established Restaurant - Fox Valley Area
An established, busy restaurant and bar in the Fox Valley area is looking for a hands-on Head Chef to own the kitchen and lead our team.
What you'll do
• Run all back-of-house operations, from prep through close
• Build and manage the kitchen schedule
• Handle food ordering, vendor relationships, inventory, and food cost control
• Hire, train, and lead kitchen staff
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready
• Work with ownership on menu updates and specials
What we're looking for
• 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience (sous chef, kitchen manager, or head cook)
• Strong casual dining line skills: you can cook, not just manage
• Experience with ordering, inventory, and scheduling
• Food Service Sanitation Manager certification (or ability to obtain)
• Reliable, organized, and calm under a Friday-night rush
What we offer
• Salary: $60,000-$70,000
