n nJob Summary:
nResponsibilities:
nWe're seeking a Head Lifeguard to join our team. As our new Head Lifeguard you will:
nnnAddress patron concerns and provide frontline customer service
n
nnCoordinate emergency response efforts per YWCA’s Emergency Action Plan
n
nnCommunicate schedule changes and updates to staff and patrons
n
nnEnsure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followed
n
nnAdjust water features and programs to suit patron needs
n
nnMaintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics Area
n
nnTrack and replenish first aid and safety supplies
n
nnAssist with administrative and programming duties as assigned
n
nnProvide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when needed
n
n nQualifications:
nnnCurrent accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
n
nnPrior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons
n
nnCurrent CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hire
n
n nPer pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $18.50 - $20.40/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
