Job description
The Connecticut Department of Correction is seeking a Head Nurse for the York Correctional Institution in East Lyme, CT. This full-time, first-shift role (6:00am–2:00pm) oversees nursing operations, detox nursing care, and infection control within a high-security setting.
You will supervise staff, coordinate with custody and health services, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead quality improvements in patient care and documentation.
