About This Role
The Head Nurse in the Neonatal ICU will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients in the unit, ensuring high-quality care and support for both patients and nursing staff.

Schedule: Full-Time, Day (7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.)
What You'll Do
Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients.
Schedule, assign, guide, and instruct nursing personnel in activities.
Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms.
Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing regimens for assigned patients.
Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure continuity of care.
Interpret and report patient responses to appropriate health team members.
Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan comprehensive patient care.
Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel.
Participate in defining, implementing, and maintaining nursing practice standards.
Maintain professional competence through continuing education and learning experiences.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years in acute care nursing preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York
Licenses & Certifications: BLS certification required
Licenses & Certifications: ACLS preferred
