Remote (Hybrid option available near Tarrytown, NY)
$115K-$135K base + performance bonus
We're hiring a leader to own Applied Epic (Applied Systems) end-to-end across a growing Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance platform with 8 locations and an expanding acquisition pipeline.
This role will take ownership of our Applied Epic environment, refine existing workflows, drive adoption and training, and establish the operational standards that support future growth. You will help define how Applied Epic is structured, how workflows operate, and how newly acquired agencies are integrated into the platform.
This is a build-and-own role with full executive backing and significant visibility across the organization.
What You'll Own
Define and standardize Applied Epic workflows across all locations, including new business, renewals, endorsements, certificates, claims, and account servicing
Refine and optimize existing Applied Epic workflows and operational standards
Lead onboarding and integration of acquired agencies into Applied Epic, including workflow alignment, data conversion, user setup, training, and adoption
Establish data standards, naming conventions, documentation requirements, and best practices across the organization
Serve as the organization's Applied Epic subject matter expert and strategic owner
Develop and deliver ongoing Applied Epic training programs to drive adoption, consistency, and operational excellence
Establish governance around system usage, data quality, and process compliance
Partner with branch leadership to identify process improvements and drive operational consistency
Improve reporting, data quality, and visibility across locations
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, workflows, and training documentation
Evaluate and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
Help build the operational infrastructure required to support continued growth and future acquisitions
Build and lead a team as the platform expands
What We're Looking For
Deep experience with Applied Epic (Applied Systems) in a P&C insurance agency or brokerage environment
Experience leading Applied Epic implementations, migrations, integrations, conversions, or large-scale optimization projects
Strong understanding of agency operations, including commercial and personal lines workflows
Experience standardizing processes across multiple offices, teams, or agency locations
Proven success driving user adoption, training, and organizational change
Strong project management and operational leadership skills
Ability to simplify complex processes and create scalable solutionsExperience supporting growth through acquisitions is highly desirable
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and will play a key role in building the operational foundation of the company as we continue to grow.
Please note:
This position requires experience with Applied Epic (Applied Systems) in a Property & Casualty insurance agency or brokerage environment. Experience with Epic healthcare/EMR systems is not applicable to this role.
