Job description
Azumo is looking for a Head of Delivery to lead and ensure the successful delivery of complex software development projects and personalized technology initiatives. The position is FULLY REMOTE, based in Latin America .
As a Head of Delivery , you will be a key leader within our IT Delivery team, collaborating cross-functionally with both business and technical teams to ensure the successful and continuous delivery of products and services.
The position demands a hands-on, results-oriented individual who is skilled at guiding teams, removing impediments, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development and custom technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Guide and coach the Project Management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.
Identify and actively remove impediments and risks that may impact team velocity and project delivery.
Apply and champion Agile methodologies to manage project workflows and ensure the timely delivery of solutions.
Communicate projects updates, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring transparency.
Oversee billing, time tracking, and budget management for project portfolios.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in an IT Delivery Management role with a focus on Agile methodologies.
C1 English skills (essential).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with JIRA and Notion.
Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
The candidate’s experience as a DM will be evaluated based on their past role.
Experience delivering AI, ML, or data-driven software projects, a meaningful advantage given Azumo's specialization.
