Job description
You own electrical. Motors, power, controls, sensors. There is no senior EE above you. If a system ships and it runs, that is you. With that said, you are not starting from scratch. We have 80% of v1. We need to get v1 in the field and iterate from there.
Experience is valued. However creativity, intuition, proclivity for action are more important.
Compensation: $110,000 base + equity + profit sharing + bonus
This is a leadership role. We're a small team building pallet AS/RS systems. Base salary here will not match a large metro corporate offer. What we offer instead is ownership with direct influence over the product, and a bonus and profit-sharing structure that grows with the company.
Ownership stake / equity. You will be eligible for a grant of membership units in Rebellion Automation, vesting over time
Profit sharing. There will be a share of company profits once the business is cash-flow positive, tied to company performance
Performance bonus. There will be bonuses tied to company milestones

Responsibilities
Own the electrical architecture of our robots from concept through commissioning
Specify motors, drives, sensors, and power distribution
Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panels
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and industrial control systems
Set the electrical standard our field techs install to, then back them up on site
Create and maintain electrical documentation and BOMs

Requirements
Does first, asks second
BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
Experience reading and creating electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical or similar)
Hands-on troubleshooting skills with electrical systems
Our software engineering team has been based out of the Flathead Valley, Montana. We are gauging interest in building in the area. If your lifestyle aligns with smaller cities, outdoor space, and recreation, you will love it in the Flathead Valley!
