Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
Greater Cleveland, OH | Hybrid | $150K–$210K Base + 20% Bonus
Our client, a private equity-backed manufacturing company in the Greater Cleveland area, is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead its FP&A function. Reporting directly to the CFO and leading a team of three, this individual will own budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis while improving FP&A processes and reporting.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis
Consolidate forecasts across business units and improve forecast accuracy
Analyze revenue, EBITDA, margins, working capital, inventory, and cash flow
Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership to evaluate financial performance
Improve and standardize FP&A processes and reporting
Support reporting and analysis for the CFO, executive team, Board, and private equity sponsor
Qualifications
7–12 years of progressive finance, accounting, or FP&A experience
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis experience
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, particularly in a multi-site or inventory-intensive environment
Strong accounting foundation; CPA preferred
Private equity-backed experience is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
The company is open to an established Director of FP&A or a strong Manager/Senior Manager ready to step into a Director-level opportunity.
Compensation: $150K–$210K base salary + 20% annual bonus.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Cleveland area.
