Job description
For our client, we are seeking a Head of Planning Part, Business Operations to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.
This leadership role will guide strategic planning and business operations across a dynamic, fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional coordination, translate priorities into actionable plans, and help ensure resources are aligned to support business goals. In partnership with senior leaders, this person will strengthen operational effectiveness, improve decision-making, and foster collaboration across departments.
Location: Mountain View, CA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $210,000 — $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to support departmental goals
Oversee preparation of strategic materials and reports for decision-making
Lead the planning team to foster collaboration and alignment
Facilitate communication and coordination between departments
Monitor business operations to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure efficient resource allocation for departmental activities
Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with business goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Represent the department in cross-functional meetings and advocate for team priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
Proven experience in strategic planning and business operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in cross-departmental collaboration
