Position Summary
We are seeking a Head of Product - Innovation to lead new product and business initiatives while overseeing a portfolio of strategic projects. This role combines product innovation, business strategy, R&D collaboration, and program management in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate new product and business opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and feasibility assessment.
Develop business cases and execution plans for promising opportunities.
Partner with R&D, product, operations, and finance teams to move concepts from idea through development and launch.
Lead and manage a small cross-functional product and project team.
Oversee enterprise projects, including priorities, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
Establish project tracking, reporting, dashboards, and operating processes that provide leadership with clear visibility into progress.
Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and AI tools.
Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in product innovation, business development, corporate strategy, new ventures, or a related field.
Experience evaluating new business or product opportunities and developing business plans.
Strong project or program management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively with technical, R&D, operational, and executive stakeholders.
Strong analytical, financial, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with physical products, hardware, manufacturing, robotics, or emerging technologies is a plus.
Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, rapidly evolving environment.
