Job description

Head of Sales, US | Denver, CO (in-office) | Full-time Own the US sales function end to end.

15 reps today growing by 50% within 12 months. The outbound motion already works, and the team cares about the mission. One condition: you spend a month on the phones showing the BDR's how to execute!

About our client

A global, mission-led event ticketing platform where the business model turns revenue into charitable impact

The platform runs thousands of events, from festivals and conferences to galas, schools and university events

The US is their biggest growth market, and the early results are already there

The aim is to make the US business as big as their home market, which would mean tens of millions of dollars a year going to charity partners

The role

You report to the Global General Manager and sit alongside the leaders of the other US functions

You inherit 11 BDRs and 4 AEs, all in the Denver office

The goal is 14 BDRs and 7 AEs within 12 months, making the team sharper and faster without losing the culture that makes it special

In your first 30 days you work as a BDR: you hit the phones, hit target, learn the product and run a strong demo

If you'd rather run a team from a dashboard, this isn't the role for you

What you'll own

The team: hiring, onboarding, coaching and developing BDRs and AEs. Success at 12 months looks like:

a 40%-50% bigger team

new reps ramping to quota on schedule

high retention

a visible path from BDR to AE to leadership

The number: US revenue growth, predictable outbound pipeline, better conversion at every stage, and forecasts the GM can trust

The rhythm: standups, 1:1s, pipeline reviews, deal coaching and call reviews

The system: HubSpot discipline, clean data, a documented playbook, and onboarding that works whether or not you're in the room

The culture: high integrity and high performance, direct feedback given with care, wins celebrated loudly and misses owned honestly

What you'll bring

You're mission driven, incredibly curious and have a unique perspective on the world!

You've led sales teams that included both BDRs and AEs, with (10+) quota-carrying reps, and you know how the handoff between them makes or breaks pipeline

You've built or scaled a high-velocity outbound SaaS motion (prospecting, sequencing, discovery, demo, close), not just worked inside one

You're a coach first, and your proudest moments are about people you developed rather than deals you closed

You have strong emotional intelligence: you can tell who needs a push and who needs a hand, you raise issues early, and you act quickly on a wrong hire

You make decisions from data and are comfortable in HubSpot or a similar CRM

You'll roll up your sleeves: cold calling with a new BDR, jumping into a demo, working a late-stage deal

You care about the mission, because the team will know quickly if you don't

Ticketing or events experience is a bonus, not a requirement

What's on offer

Competitive Salary based on experience, plus variable pay tied to team performance

401(k), plus medical, dental and vision cover with no employee contribution

Real ownership in a non-hierarchical, high-trust team that doesn't micromanage

A big say well beyond sales, including marketing, product and global expansion

An annual off-site retreat and a strong social calendar

To be clear, this isn't a 9 to 5. It's a role for someone who's obsessive about the mission and wants to lead from the front.
