Job description

Are you looking to make a meaningful impact through your work? Join us at LTSE, the Long-Term Stock Exchange, an SEC-registered national securities exchange designed to promote fair and orderly markets and help long-term focused companies get the credit they deserve. We are an innovative business ecosystem dedicated to reimagining the role of capital markets for a more equitable and sustainable future. At LTSE, we work with companies to identify long-term investors that will value sustainable, long-term growth. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your diverse background and skills toward a compelling mission that delivers tangible results. By supporting businesses in creating multi-stakeholder value, we generate a positive ripple effect that benefits communities, employees, and beyond.

The Role

LTSE is seeking a Senior Sales Manager – Markets to drive growth across our market ecosystem by expanding our exchange member network and scaling adoption of LTSE’s proprietary data products. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales leader who understands market structure and has experience selling to the broker/dealer trading community.

You’ll be responsible for building and advancing a strong pipeline of prospective member firms, supporting member onboarding in close partnership with internal teams, and helping existing members increase engagement and activity. You’ll also represent LTSE externally and help shape industry awareness through events and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

Own new member acquisition and proprietary market data sales.

Identify, build, and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective member firms across the financial industry.

Proactively engage and convert firms to join LTSE as members.

Partner with Business Development to expand activity and deepen relationships with existing member firms.

Drive commercial growth by selling LTSE proprietary data products to market participants and stakeholders.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with sell-side, market makers, and other key ecosystem partners.

Coordinate cross-functionally with Market Operations to ensure onboarding is smooth, timely, and successful.

Deliver clear updates and forecasting to senior leadership, including the Executive Team.

Collaborate with LTSE’s Marketing team to design and execute awareness strategies targeting key market audiences.

Represent LTSE at industry events as an ambassador of our mission, values, and long-term vision.

Must Have

Proven experience driving enterprise sales to broker/dealers or business development in financial services, trading, exchanges, market data, or fintech.

Strong knowledge of U.S. equity market structure and the roles of brokers, market makers, and institutional investors.

Demonstrated success sourcing and closing new business with sophisticated counterparties.

Comfortable operating cross-functionally across business development, marketing/positioning, market ops, and leadership.

Highly organized, metric-driven, and confident managing pipeline and forecasting.

Strong executive presence and ability to represent LTSE publicly (events, industry meetings, panels).

LTSE's Compensation Philosophy

The total anticipated on-target earnings (OTE) for this role is between $245,000 - $305,000 with a mid-point base salary of $150,000. Base compensation is part of a total rewards package including stock options and benefits, and may include additional performance incentives. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using multiple databases to ensure competitive and fair pay.

To determine the compensation for the role, we use a data-driven, blended rate approach to ensure we are paying competitively among our peers by benchmarking to companies of similar size and stage, and hire at the 50th percentile (midpoint) of the salary range.

Some benefits may only be available for full-time employees. Please check with your recruiter to find out which benefits you are eligible for.
