Job description
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Compensation: $350,000 base + $150,000 bonus, with flexibility and equity possible for the right candidate
About the opportunity
A well-established services firm is hiring its North America Sales Leader. The business is approximately $160M, grew 30% last year, and has a new CEO with a mandate to scale: the sales organization is doubling and the delivery practice is tripling. This is a build-out rather than a caretaker role, and the person who takes it will shape how the commercial organization operates rather than inherit a finished machine.
This is a senior commercial leadership position responsible for developing and executing the North American sales strategy, building a high-performing sales organization, expanding strategic customer relationships, and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. The successful candidate will operate credibly at the executive level while keeping a strong personal focus on new business, pipeline, execution, and results.
This role requires hands-on experience selling SAP services.
What you'll own
Sales strategy and revenue growth
The North American sales strategy and revenue plan, aligned to company objectives
A multi-year growth strategy across new customers, segments, channels, and offerings
Identification and pursuit of new market opportunities
Sales targets, priorities, coverage models, and go-to-market design
Profitable revenue growth, not growth at any cost
Pipeline, forecasting, and execution
A rigorous sales operating cadence covering pipeline generation, opportunity management, forecasting, conversion, and performance
The accuracy and predictability of the North American forecast
Early identification of risks and gaps, with decisive action to close them
Alignment across sales, marketing, customer success, operations, finance, and delivery
Executive leadership
Serving as the senior sales voice for North America on the executive leadership team
Giving the CEO and executive team clear visibility into market trends, competitive dynamics, pipeline, and risk
Contributing to company strategy, annual planning, budgeting, pricing, and resource allocation
Representing the business externally with customers, partners, and industry organizations
What we're looking for
Required
SAP services sales experience — selling SAP consulting and implementation services, not licenses alone
Experience running a sales organization in IT services, consulting, or professional services — leading account executives and client partners, not only selling
A regional or North America revenue number carried in a services business
A track record in new business development: new logos, new segments, measurable growth from a defined starting point
Experience designing quota plans, coverage models, or incentive structures rather than inheriting them
Executive presence sufficient to report to a CEO and sit in front of a board
Based in California, Austin, or Dallas, or willing to relocate
Preferred
SAP supply chain specifically — planning, procurement, transportation, warehouse management
Platform exposure across S/4HANA, IBP, Ariba, or comparable supply chain planning tools
Experience at a specialist firm of this scale rather than exclusively at very large organizations
A vertical specialty alongside experience overseeing more than one
How success is measured
Delivery of North American revenue and profitability targets
Sustainable year-over-year growth
Improved forecast accuracy and pipeline health
Increased productivity and performance of the sales organization
Growth and retention of strategic accounts
Expansion into new customers, markets, and offerings
Stronger sales talent, succession depth, and organizational capability
Improved sales process, discipline, and operating rigor
High levels of customer satisfaction and executive-level engagement
