Job description
James Madison University invites applications for the Academic Unit Head, School of Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication. The successful candidate will lead the 12-month tenured AUH with a 1-1 teaching load, beginning July 1, 2027, and oversee programmatic vision within the College of Arts and Letters.
The role requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a track record of teaching and research that merits tenure.
