About The Stone
The Stone Fitness & Performance Center is growing, and we're looking for a full-time Head Performance Coach who wants to grow with us.
We specialize in small-group, individualized training , working with both adults and athletes in a coaching environment where quality matters. Our sessions are capped at 6 clients per coach , allowing you to provide individualized attention while developing your coaching skills and building meaningful relationships with clients.
We're looking for someone who sees coaching as more than just a job. The right person will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility, develop as a coach and leader, help mentor other staff, and grow alongside the business.
What You'll Do
Lead high-energy small-group training sessions with a maximum 6:1 client-to-coach ratio
Provide individualized coaching, exercise modifications, and form correction
Write individualized exercise prescriptions for clients
Design and deliver strength, conditioning, and athletic performance programs
Coach both adult clients and athletes toward their individual goals
Create a positive, professional, and motivating training environment
Help train and develop part-time coaching staff under the direction of the Performance Director
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training facility
Create social media content and engage with our online community
Utilize CRM systems to support client communication, retention, and development
Contribute to client growth and the overall growth of The Stone
What We're Looking For
Experience coaching individuals and/or small groups in a strength & conditioning, performance, or fitness setting
Strong understanding of exercise science, biomechanics, program design, and periodization
Experience working with athletes and/or adult clients
CSCS, CPT, or equivalent certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to confidently coach multiple clients while maintaining individualized attention
Self-motivated, energetic, and professional
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continue developing as a coach
Comfortable working evenings and Saturday mornings based on program needs
Experience with CRM systems and social media is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits
$40,000–$45,000 Base Salary
Plus:
