Job Description
The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking applicants for the position of Head Varsity Coach for the hockey program. This is a paid position. This position is not eligible for benefits.
Successful candidates will be responsible for managing, organizing and administering the hockey program. Duties include conducting well-organized practices and completing MIAA required coaching workshops and complying with MIAA rules.

Job Requirements
Ability to teach fundamental hockey techniques that challenge the physical, mental and personal abilities of student-athletes. Ability to promote hockey program participation. Ability to maintain a philosophy consistent with the mission and goals of the school. Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey messages of sportsmanship, work ethic and commitment to one's team.
Experience as a coach at the high school level preferred.
Season begins mid-November.
