Header OperatorsA great company in the Ola area is looking for Header Operators for a fastener manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys working in a hands-on production environment.Schedule: There is a $0.50 shift differential for night shiftFriday - Sunday 5:30 AM - 6:00 PMFriday - Sunday 5:30 PM - 6:00 AMJob Duties:Set up and operate cold header machines (single or multi-die)Load wire stock and ensure proper feed into the machineInstall and adjust dies, punches, and tooling for each jobMonitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain part qualityInspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specificationsPerform first-piece and in-process inspectionsIdentify defects and adjust machine settings to reduce scrapTroubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance when neededMaintain accurate production and quality recordsPerform routine maintenance and assist with machine changeoversFollow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspaceRequirements:Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferredExperience with header machines or metal forming equipment is a plusAbility to read measurements and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and qualityGood mechanical aptitudeDependable and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for long periodsLift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in an industrial environment
