Job description
Health Information Manager
This position is for a Health Information Technician (HIM) working day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 5x8s) for a 13-week contract. The role focuses on medical record management, chart completion, and deficiency analysis in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include coordinating physician documentation, ensuring compliance with Title 22, CIHQ, and regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate, complete patient records using electronic systems.
Requirements: Candidates must have 3–5 years of medical records experience in an acute care setting, strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and EHR systems, and basic typing skills (35 WPM). Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle deadlines. Experience with ChartMaxx and physician chart completion processes is preferred.
