Come join our Community Health team in this pool position where you will be responsible for community and corporate wellness screenings and health education across BayCare's service area.This position requires AHCA Level 2 background clearance and requires travel within home base county but also to our sister counties with your own reliable transportation.The Health Educator responsibilities include:Reviewing screening assessmentsIdentifying risk factors and discussing lifestyle changes with customersRefers customers to appropriate servicesMaintains and distributes teaching materialsFacilitates education programs for team members and the communityDevelops and maintains presentation materialsTravels within the service area using own transportation and performs other duties as assignedSpecific Skills:Computer skills appropriate to positionEducator skillsWork with a teamWork independentlyCustomer service skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsOrganizational skillsWork with minimal supervisionCertifications and Licensures:Required BLS (Basic Life Support)Required RN (Registered Nurse) if applicableRequired RD (Registered Dietitian) if applicableRequired PA (Physician Assistant) if applicableRequired APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) if applicableRequired State of Florida Driver's LicenseEducation:Required Associate's of NursingOr Bachelor's of Healthcare RelatedPreferred Bachelor's of NursingExperience:Required 1 year Related FieldPreferred 2 years Community HealthPreferred 2 years Wellness RelatedFacility: BayCare Health System, Marcom Community Health-BCHS
