Job description
Health Promotion Specialist
Serves as a Health Promotion Specialist within the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (IHS) to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level. Develops and implements community wellness programs, monitors health information, and promotes healthy lifestyles through prevention, education, collaboration, and community engagement. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
