Job description
Duties
Helps Provides technical guidance and assistance to Community Program Managers, Regional Designators, Regional Health Systems Administrators, medical/psychiatric referral centers, and Federal Prison System (FPS) facilities. Responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and initially designating inmates with medical problems to an appropriate facility for evaluation and/or treatment upon entering the FPS. Reviews, evaluates, and redesignates those inmates who are currently in FPS facilities who may have medical or psychiatric problems beyond the medical resources of that facility. Responsible for the overall management control, and movement of inmates with health-related problems throughout the FPS.
