About Oja
Oja is a boutique wellness spa on James Island offering massage, fitness training, yoga therapy, red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and a Contrast circuit. We're a growing, ground-floor business, and we're looking for a Spa Manager who will treat Oja's success as their own.
The Role
You'll lead Oja's team and business operations, partnering closely with the owner to maintains Oja's vision to keeps it living with vitality. This is a role for someone who thinks ahead, leads with clarity, and wants to build something lasting.
What You'll Do
- Lead, hire, train, and develop the Oja team
- Carry out and protect Oja's vision and guest experience standards
- Manage budgets and expenses with a careful, cost-conscious approach
- Plan and drive sales, memberships, and revenue goals
- Curate and buy retail products with a strong sense of style and quality
- Plan and run marketing and advertising efforts
- Plan ahead for staffing, inventory, and growth
- Report regularly to the owner on performance and priorities

- Proven experience managing a team, and great at it
- Understands what it takes to build a team and run a business
- Strategic, with real foresight and strong planning skills
- Financially thoughtful and conservative with spending
- A stylish eye for products and a love of high-quality experiences
- Skilled at advertising and promotion
- A great communicator and confident leader
- Self-motivated, independent, and highly organized
- Level-headed and calm under pressure
- Kind and supportive with staff while keeping clear professional boundaries
- Genuinely passionate about wellness and dedicated to the work, not just the paycheck
- Available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks
Pay & Perks
- $65,000–$70,000 per year based on experience, plus bonuses

Assistant Spa ManagerAbout Oja
Oja is a boutique wellness spa on James Island offering massage, fitness training, yoga therapy, red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and a Contrast circuit. We're looking for an Assistant Manager who keeps the day running beautifully.
The Role
You'll support the Spa Manager and lead the day-to-day flow of the spa, making sure every guest has a calm, polished experience and every shift runs smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Open and close the spa and oversee daily operations
- Lead and schedule the front desk and support team
- Keep the spa spotless, stocked, and organized
- Handle guest questions and concerns with care
- Support retail sales, rebooking, and memberships
- Step in at the front desk or back of house whenever needed
- Keep the Spa Manager informed and help carry out Oja's goals
Who You Are
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a spa, hospitality, or retail setting
- Clean, organized, and detail-oriented
- An early riser who's dependable and on time
- A great communicator with guests and teammates
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Level-headed and calm under pressure
- Kind and supportive with staff while keeping clear professional boundaries
- Cares about high-quality guest experiences and loves the work
- Available for weekends and holidays when needed
Pay & Perks
- $50,000–$60,000 per year based on experience, plus bonuses
