Job description

Role Overview

Apply clinical judgment to help evaluate and improve advanced AI models. Your professional standards and expertise will inform the criteria used to assess model performance. This is an ongoing talent pool for clinicians and health professionals interested in AI training and evaluation work, rather than a specific project opening.

Key Responsibilities

Create practice-based clinical cases that include presentation, workup, constraints, and a reference answer used to evaluate model responses.

Evaluate model clinical reasoning, including differential diagnosis ordering, guideline applicability for the individual patient, and whether a proposed plan is safe to implement.

Identify recommendations that may be academically defensible but unsuitable in real care settings because of comorbidities, patient access, or care-setting limitations.

Qualifications

Clinical credential and professional experience in a health profession.

Strong written communication skills to clearly explain clinical reasoning.

Comfort working with ambiguous tasks and raising unclear instructions for clarification.

Relevant backgrounds may include internal medicine, surgical specialties, diagnostic medicine, psychiatry, clinical psychology, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, medical technology, laboratory science, public health, epidemiology, healthcare administration, or medical writing.

This opportunity is not limited to physicians. Health professionals whose work requires clinical judgment are welcome.

Work Terms

Remote, hourly independent-contractor work.

This pool remains open even when no matching project is active. New projects may begin on short notice, and invitations are sent when a project needs your profession or specialty.

A project-specific invitation will identify the rate, hours, and client; hiring decisions are made for that individual project.

This listing itself does not accept or reject candidates, so it does not result in a decision. Contact may arrive within a week or take several months, depending on available projects.

Compensation

Project rates vary by profession, scope, and required depth. Medical-field projects have been posted at $60 to $180 per hour.

Eligibility

Complete registration once to be eligible for all applicable professional networks. Completing the domain-expert interview and joining each network for which you qualify can improve the likelihood of a match.

Application Process

Submit your resume and confirm your work location.

Complete a short AI interview, approximately 20 minutes.

Credentials and background are verified before you are added to the medical professional pool.

Who can apply

Review the original listing for work authorization, qualifications and employer requirements.
