Key Responsibilities
Administer comprehensive patient evaluations, order relevant diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care strategies
Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic medical conditions collaboratively or independently (based on credentials)
Educate patients and their families on health promotion, prevention, and disease management strategies
Prescribe necessary medications and therapies as per established guidelines
Engage in patient follow-up activities and chronic illness management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for integrated, holistic patient care
Maintain precise and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education and Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Credentials
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
