Job Description:
Withum's Tax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, counting our affiliation with HLB international, allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere. Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services.
As a Healthcare Tax Manager based out of any of our NJ, NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Buffalo, NY offices, you'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of tax engagements, supervise/mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.

How you'll spend your time:
Coordinating as part of the healthcare services group tax team on the review and filing of annual tax returns, including Forms; 1040, 1065; 1120; 1120-S
Working on various tax consulting special projects
Attending professional tax webinars and presentations to the healthcare industry
Working on day to day tax assistance to our healthcare industry clients
Supporting and coordinating with our healthcare group's audit and consulting teams
Contributing to the continued development of staff and the growth of the firm's healthcare niche practice
Thekinds ofpeoplewewant totalk tohavemany ofthefollowing:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license, JD or aMastersof Science in Taxation
At least 5 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in California, Illinois, New Jersey or New York City, please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. California ranges are from $135,000 - $210,000 annually
Chicago ranges are from $125,000 - $160,000 annually
New Jersey ranges are from $105,000 - $190,000 annually
New York City ranges are from $110,000 - $180,000 annually
