Culture & music: A world-famous live music scene (jazz, brass bands, and more) with venues and festivals year-round.

Food: Renowned local cuisine—from Creole and Cajun classics to acclaimed contemporary dining.

Arts & history: Historic architecture, museums, and a vibrant arts community across the city.

Festivals: Major events including Mardi Gras and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, plus countless neighborhood celebrations.

Neighborhoods: Diverse communities with distinct character, from historic districts to family-friendly residential areas.

Outdoors: Proximity to bayous, lakes, and Gulf Coast recreation, including boating and fishing.

Travel: Convenient air travel options and weekend access to regional destinations across the Gulf South.

Facility Location

The festivals, the restaurants and the night life are a few of the main attractions in New Orleans, and there’s always the French Quarter, established by the French in 1718, that is a must go place. Bourbon Street is where the upscale lounges and historic restaurants and jazz clubs are to be found. No wonder the first opera in North America was performed in New Orleans!
